Looe Rowing Club has made the decision to pause general recruitment for the 2025 season.

Launching and recovering gigs in Looe can be challenging due to changing wind and tide conditions. To maintain a safe environment for all members, we feel it’s important to consolidate the competency and confidence of our existing rowers and coxes before introducing new members.

However, we will continue to welcome enquiries from individuals aged 30 and under. Our numbers in this age group are currently low, and bringing in younger members is essential to rebalancing the club’s demographics and ensuring the future health of the club.
